Great atmosphere. Unique setting. Good food. Haunted.
I ordered the full American breakfast and a Bloody Mary. They broke the over easy eggs, so the yolk was all over the plate and had started congealing. The potatoes were dry. The drink was completely watered down.
Cool, historic gastro pub. Excellent food and beers. Everyone will enjoy this place.
Had the meatloaf, and some ratatouille. They were fine. Had to use the women's room to change my son's diaper because the men's room uses that space for a giant beer ad, so that left kind of a foul sexist aftertaste. Servers tended to bring chips, utensils, etc after bringing the food, which was awkward, and there were multiple minor confusions around food brought to our table, some of which was meant for another group. Little things that normally wouldn't bother me, and maybe they had an off night, but it was a lot of little things.
The meals have a great presentation and the portions are a good size. You won't leave here hungry. I usually order a dirty martini from the bar which is good every time. Great craft beer selection. They have crayons and something to color for the kids, and a good size kid menu. A little pricey for Ashland but worth it, service, food and drinks are great.
