If I could give zero stars I would. It took three phone calls to get the 10 small free boxes that come with the move. I was promised 3 wardrobe boxes on the day of my move. Perhaps I could have gotten them if my movers could speak/understand a lick of English. I understand that moving is mostly a physical job, but I want to be able to communicate effectively with the people I'm trusting with my stuff.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They are atrociously bad--hopefully this review will save others the headache I experienced. I could have scheduled a flat rate full service (packing included) move for the amount I paid for a ridiculously unprofessional move.

The true crowning moment came when they finally arrived at my new place. The one in charge started talking to me about hours and wanted me to sign off on two hours unloading time, when they hadn't lifted a finger to do so. I said I would be happy to sign anything once they were done. Basically, they held my stuff hostage until I signed and paid for an incomplete move which I'm pretty sure is illegal. Also included in the charges was an hour of travel time. An hour at $95 per is steep, particularly when we are talking about a three mile away move.
I scheduled my move for August 1. On July 31, I received a phone call that my movers had arrived at my apartment. Once the date was straightened out, they showed up again the next day. I had to get them to the loading dock, which took about ten minutes of trying to explain that they couldn't park where they were. Finally got them to the driveway of the loading area, where it took another ten minutes for the driver to back the truck in--short driveway, straight all the way down.
This company has rebranded. They used to be "Boston Movers" located near the North End. These 5 star reviews must be fake.
The move went as smoothly as I could have hoped. We packed ourselves so the origin end team packed up our three bedroom house in less than 3.5 hours. Delivery was exactly as promised and unloading and reassembling took just a bit longer since there were two men compared to four. I was pleasantly surprised the truck made it through the mountains without any weather delay, which of course wouldn't have been on the Ocean Moving and Storage if it had.
Once inside my apartment, I initialed the 9:00am start time, even though it was now 9:20am. I had packed most of my items myself, and the person I coordinated the move with over the phone assured me that the movers could pack me as well--same hourly rate. I tried to relay that to the movers, but because of the language barrier, they didn't understand. Absolutely slowest move on the loading side of things. At one point I went down to check on them because I hadn't seen them in about twenty minutes. One was organizing in the truck, but the other two were at the vending machine trying to purchase sodas. They were unsuccessfully trying to jam singles into the machine, upside down, which of course the machine wouldn't take. I helped them grab two sodas, and they finally came back up.
Here is my review of them when they were Boston Movers. They are using the exact same website address, and if you look at their Yelp reviews, you will see that they are part of a Florida business that is clearly terrible:

Best moving company I have used so far. They did such a good job. They were so professional, efficient and friendly. We had 3 locations to travel to, 3 guys, and was done in one day. I will be using them if I move again!
